Junior consultant, works for T&S since February 2019
Mathieu, what is your academic background?
Since I was young, I’ve always enjoyed DIY. I watched videos on YouTube and make my own creations.
I really enjoyed my first programming classes in high school. I liked it, but I didn’t know how to put this into practice in my professional future.
After high school, I studied Physics and Engineering Science courses in Mulhouse. I was then admitted to the Electrical Engineering speciality at INSA Strasbourg.
How did your working life at T&S begin?
For my internship, I joined T&S at the Electronic Design Delivery Center in Sébastien Julien’s team. First, I appreciated the way I was welcomed and the various projects I’ve been involved in. In particular: the creation of an autonomous robot, on which I collaborated on the writing of data on the board.
At the end of this 6-month internship, T&S offered me a permanent contract with the choice of continuing in the Delivery Center or going on a client’s mission.
I chose the second option in order to diversify my professional experience.
I work in a team of about twenty people and I do high-level programming for an international industrial company. I enjoy working on concrete projects, it allows me to be in contact with the different departments and to see the evolution of the finished product.
What do you like most about your job?
In my current job, I like the industrial environment, projects are complex and, at the beginning, you collect a huge amount of information
I’m lucky to have a long-term mission and to get involved at several levels and on each stage of the project.
Finally, working at T&S gives me the opportunity, one day, to be able to change my mission and therefore to learn new subjects and acquire new skills.
One last word
There is a real feeling of proximity at T&S, you always find someone you know or have met before!
