Junior consultant, works for T&S since January 2019
Axel, what is your academic background?
When I was young my dream was to become a helicopter pilot. I then started to grow curious about mechanics of motorcycles. I was always attracted by motorsports. Therefore, I completed my studies at the school of automotive, aeronautic and transport engineers (I.S.A.T) in Nevers. Moving forward, the field of autonomous vehicles really made me tick. I was more and more curious about the evolution of this new technology. This is why the “intelligent & autonomous vehicles specialization” was a no-brainer for me.
How did you start working for T&S?
To complete my studies, I did my 6-month internship at Technology & Strategy.
The advantage of this offer was to work for a German multinational company in the automotive field. The project consisted of focusing on software tests for a new vehicle platform. Not only was this project enriching from a professional point of view as I acquired different technical skills, it was also interesting from a cultural point of view with the international side of the job. The experience took me outside my usual comfort zone and I have developed my language skills in English and German. I was considered as an employee.
Following this experience, I had the opportunity to sign a permanent contract with T&S. This was an opportunity for me to improve my technical skills through the different projects that are regularly proposed. My objective in the future is to have a responsible position and to manage my own team.
What do you like most about your job?
From the very beginning of my career, I was given the chance to work for prestigious clients and colleagues from different cultures: Chinese, Indian, Romanian
My daily challenge is to adapt to the customer’s working methods as well as the market changes. What I like about consulting is that it’s such a dynamic field.
